Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipe

This recipe for beef stroganoff is quick, easy, and best of all, delicious!

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

 Ingredients:
  - 1 ½ pounds beef tenderloin, sliced into ½ inch by 2 inch pieces
  - 2 tbs. butter
  - ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- 2 tbs. flour
- 1 medium sized onion, sliced
- 1 can of beef broth
- 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
- ¾ cup of sour cream
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 pound wide egg noodles, cooked to directions on box

Instructions:

Season the beef pieces with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, melt butter and add seasoned beef on medium-high heat. Cook until all sides are brown and move all pieces on one of the pan. On the empty side of the pan, add the onions and the mushrooms and cook for 3-5 minutes and then push them over to the side of the pan with the beef. Add the broth and flour and combine all ingredients. Lower the heat and add the mustard. Stir constantly. Gradually add the sour cream. Serve over the cooked noodles.
